Moderate quake rattles southern Peru
A moderate earthquake shook southern Peru on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The magnitude 5.7 quake hit at 11:26 a.m. (1626 GMT) at a depth of 66.8 miles (107.5 km), said the agency’s National Earthquake Information Center in Denver. The epicenter was located some 360 miles (580 km) southeast of the capital Lima, the center’s Web site said. Full Story
