Two Bolivian farmers were killed on Friday in clashes between coca leaf growers and security forces working to eradicate illegal crops of the plant used to make cocaine, officials said. Farmers were holding at least 11 policemen and soldiers hostage following the clashes in the Chapare region, some 450 kilometers (280 miles) southwest of the Bolivian capital, La Paz.
