Six soldiers were injured by a bomb blast Thursday in Thailand’s restive south, which has been gripped by a bloody Islamic insurgency for over two years, police said.
The soldiers were in a military jeep on their way to protect teachers traveling to school in the Sungai Padi district of Narathiwat province when a homemade bomb hidden on the roadside exploded, said police Lt. Krisana Khemkradthong. Full Story
