Pakistan wants Afghanistan to help intel
Pakistan’s President Gen. Pervez Musharraf wants Afghan leader Hamid Karzai to stop the finger-pointing and agree to “a verbal cease-fire” and stepped-up intelligence cooperation to fight terrorism, Pakistan’s foreign minister said Wednesday. Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri spoke in an Associated Press interview ahead of a dinner Wednesday night hosted by President Bush for the two U.S. allies who have been criticizing each other’s efforts to fight terrorists along their long, remote, mountainous border.
