Four men charged with firing shots at an Oslo synagogue at the weekend have also been accused of plotting to blow up the U.S. and Israeli embassies in Oslo, an attorney for one of the accused said on Thursday. Earlier on Thursday, Oslo police said they had expanded their charges against the four men arrested on Tuesday to include a charge of terrorism, but they gave no further details and they declined to confirm or deny the attorney’s remarks. “The police say that they (the accused men) were talking about blowing up the embassies — the American and Israeli embassies,” attorney Vegard Aaloekken told Reuters.
