More than 10,000 demonstrators gathered in front of the Hungarian parliament in Budapest for the third consecutive night, to call for the resignation of Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany. Riot police with shields, helmets, bulletproof vests and gas masks formed a security cordon around the building as demonstrators, mostly aged in their 20s, continued to pile into the square, an AFP correspondent at the scene reported.
