AP: Hill vows to push on for nuke talks
The American envoy to deadlocked nuclear disarmament talks with North Korea said Tuesday that he was pushing for a meeting with the United States’ other partners despite the North’s refusal to participate. “To be hopeful at this point would be a triumph of hope over recent experience,” Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill told The Associated Press. “But what I can assure you is that we will continue to try as hard as we can because the stakes are pretty high.” Full Story
