Yemeni mediators have offered to move prisoners for tribesmen who kidnapped four tourists, in exchange for the release of the French hostages, a tribal source told AFP. The proposal was made a day after Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh joined the efforts to release the tourists, who were seized by tribesmen in the town of Ataq, in Shabwa province southeast of Sanaa, on September 10.
