U.S. President George W. Bush Saturday called on Congress to pass legislation he prefers on surveillance and trials for suspected terrorists. “As we work with the international community to defeat the terrorists and extremists, we must also provide our military and intelligence professionals the tools they need to keep our country safe,” Bush said in his Saturday radio address. “Congress is considering two vital pieces of legislation to help us do just that.” Full Story
