Uganda holds breath for peace as rebels head for truce

AKWORO, Uganda, Sept 11 (Reuters) – The rebels were long gone but they left plenty of evidence from the night before.

Not the charred, smoking bodies, empty bullet cases and mutilated survivors they used to leave in their rampages through northern Uganda’s villages; but flattened grass, a burnt out campfire, orange peel and biscuit wrappers. Full Story
