Zeyno Baran is a senior fellow at the Washington, D.C.-based Hudson Institute and director of its Center for Eurasian Policy. She spoke to Natalia Tchourikova of RFE/RL’s Ukrainian Service about the current political climate in Georgia, the frozen conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and Tbilisi’s efforts to move closer to its goal of joining NATO.
