China has said it remains opposed to sanctions against North Korea over its nuclear drive, one day after top US envoy Christopher Hill nudged Beijing to take more action over the issue. “We are not supportive of sanctions,” foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang said in a regular press briefing, a day after Hill discussed the issue with top Chinese officials.
