Morocco has stepped up security at its airports after discovering that the wives of two pilots at national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) had been funding a radical Islamist cell, state news agency MAP reported. “The Interior Ministry revealed on Tuesday the proven implication of three Moroccan women, two of them married to RAM pilots, in the terrorist enterprise led by the Ansar El Mehdi cell recently dismantled by the security services,” MAP said.
