German police identify second train bomb suspect
German authorities said they have now identified the second of two suspects behind a failed plot to bomb passenger trains but have failed to capture him despite a massive manhunt. The spokeswoman for the federal prosecutor’s office, Frauke-Katrin Scheuten, said the suspect had last lived in an apartment in the western German city of Cologne, where two men were captured on security cameras July 31 planting suitcases packed with bombs on regional trains.
