Italy to send peacekeepers to Lebanon

Italy’s government on Friday formally agreed to send peacekeeping troops to Lebanon, though Premier Romano Prodi said the number of soldiers hadn’t yet been determined. The decision, made during a Cabinet meeting, was “absolutely, totally unanimous,” Prodi said.
