Police said they shot dead at least four gunmen before dawn Tuesday in Sao Paulo, bringing the death toll to six in two nights of gang violence in Brazil’s wealthiest and most populous state. Overnight, gang members fired shots at police stations and torched buses and bank branches in at least 10 cities around the state. But police said there were fewer attacks than the previous night, when gangsters attacked almost 100 targets in and around Sao Paulo, South America’s financial capital. Full Story
