British Prime Minister Tony Blair will push for a speedy U.N. resolution on the Middle East crisis and dispatch of a peacekeeping force when he meets President Bush in Washington on Friday. “We do need to step up a gear, we want to increase the urgency, the pace of diplomacy,” a spokesman for Blair told reporters aboard his plane as he flew to the United States.
