A Somali Islamist leader has ordered a “holy war” to drive out Ethiopian troops, after they entered the country to protect the weak interim government. “I am calling on the Somali people to wage a holy war against Ethiopians in Somalia,” said Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys of the Union of Islamic Courts.
