Colombian army sets up base at birthplace of FARC
The Colombian army established a base in Marquetalia, a village in the mountains where the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, guerrilla group was founded more than 40 years ago. The base was inaugurated by outgoing Defense Minister Camilo Ospina in the village in Tolima province some 350 kilometers (217 miles) southwest of Bogota. Full Story
