North Korea ordered a wartime mobilization of its troops and citizens hours before the U.N. Security Council approved a resolution condemning Pyongyang for testing missiles, a South Korean daily reported on Wednesday. A South Korean government official denied the report. “We understand North Korea ordered a tight alert around July 5 when they test fired missiles, but they did not issue a mobilization order,” the official, who asked not to be named, said by telephone.
