Businessmen in the southern Mexican state of Tabasco on Monday demanded better security after a clash between police and heavily armed gangsters that left four people dead, two of them cops. “Yes, this situation concerns us, because we don’t want more violence in Tabasco and even less for these (organized crime) groups to execute anyone,” Jose Bustamante, the local representantive of the CCE, one of Mexico’s main business federations, told EFE.
