The Computer Security Institute (CSI) and the FBI have teamed up to release a report on the effects of virus attacks on financial losses. The report finds that the following categories make up nearly 3/4 of financial loss: virus attacks, unauthorized network access, laptop and mobile hardware theft, and proprietary information / intellectual property theft.
