Uganda’s government says it still expects to hold talks with the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) rebels in Sudan. The LRA has refused to send their top leaders to negotiations despite a direct appeal from the chief mediator, the vice-president of south Sudan. Uganda’s interior minister told the BBC that the government wanted to meet “authentic and decisive” LRA delegates. Full Story
