North Korea has test-fired a number of missiles, one of which was reported to have been the long-range Taepodong-2 which US media said failed in flight. Two missiles were thought to have been short-range and landed in the Sea of Japan minutes later, it was reported. CNN said a third missile was the Taepodong-2, which has a range of up to 6,000 km (3,730 miles), putting parts of the US within striking distance. Full Story
