A young man and an old woman were killed and 15 people injured in a grenade attack on the home of a so-called dervish in revolt-hit Indian Kashmir, police said. The attack in the town of Sopore, 50 kilometers (31 miles) north of the summer capital Srinagar, was on the house of Abdul Ahad Sopori. He has attracted scores of followers who believe he can heal the sick. “His followers were hurt in the explosion as well as a policeman,” a police spokesman said on Thursday.
