A roadside bomb hit a military convoy Wednesday in southern Afghanistan, injuring four Canadian soldiers, the military said. Two Afghan men were detained in connection with the blast, said coalition spokesman Maj. Quentin Innis. The explosion occurred around 8 a.m. as the troops were conducting a routine patrol in the Shahwali Kot district of Kandahar province, he said. Full Story
