UN chief investigator Serge Brammertz cited “potential linkages” between his probe of the murder of Lebanese premier Rafiq Hariri and other attacks targeting anti-Syrian Lebanese figures.He made the comments while briefing the Security Council on his latest report on his six-month investigation of the Hariri slaying which concluded that “considerable progress” had been achieved in understanding the circumstances of the murder.
