Sri Lanka’s Tamil Tiger rebels killed at least two security forces personnel on Wednesday, the military said, as the rebels returned from failed talks with the Colombo government in Norway. About 500 people have been killed since early April, raising fears that a 2002 ceasefire between rebels and government might collapse and pitch the country back into civil war.
