Two Swedes of Kurdish origin have been released from jail in Turkey, pending their trial. They have been accused of making propaganda for the outlawed Kurdish Workers Party, the PKK, when they issued a statement saying the military build-up in eastern Turkey is aimed at the entire Kurdish people. The two deny the charges, saying they are fighting for the rights of the Kurds, but through peaceful and democratic methods.
