Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Tuesday that his country will never agree to pull out of all of the West Bank because the borders that existed before Israel captured the territory in 1967 could not be defended. Speaking to lawmakers at Britain’s parliament, Olmert said he was prepared to negotiate an agreement with any Palestinian government that renounces terrorism, recognizes Israel and stands by previous agreements between the two sides.
