Britain’s top police officer Sir Ian Blair could face legal charges over the fatal shooting of a Brazilian man who was mistaken by police for a suicide bomber last year. The Observer said the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is considering charges against Blair, London’s Metropolitan Police commissioner, and two commanders in control of the operation that resulted in the death of Jean Charles de Menezes.
