Nine people were killed in Iraq, including four people killed in twin blasts at an animal market in downtown Baghdad, police reported. The two blasts, which also wounded 50 people, went off in quick succession, sending plumes of white smoke floating into the Baghdad sky marking the carnage below as the busy market was torn apart by bombs.
