US President George W. Bush slapped sanctions on India’s most wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim, as well as a Brazilian man and an Iranian, under a law targeting major drug traffickers. Bush designated Ibrahim and his organization, Fahd Jamil Georges of Brazil, Ali Naway of Iran, and the Amezcua Contreras group of Mexico as “foreign narcotics kingpins,” the White House announced.
