Five Indian paramilitary soldiers and a civilian were found shot to death by unidentified gunmen after they were abducted last week from the northeast state of Assam, police said. A police spokesman said the bodies of the five soldiers were recovered Monday from a densely forested area in the neighbouring state of Arunachal Pradesh, about 320 kilometers (198 miles) east of Assam’s main city of Guwahati.
