Iranian FM in Iraq amid more violence
Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has arrived for talks with his Iraqi counterpart, the highest-level such visit since Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s election win last June. In a continuation of the attacks that have plagued the country since a new government was formed on Saturday, a car bomb exploded in a marketplace next to the Nahda bus station in the city center, killing eight and wounding 31.
