Pro-Taliban militants shot dead a trader whom they accused of spying for government forces in a restive Pakistani tribal region bordering Afghanistan, officials said. The local carpet trader was attacked at a main market in the town of Miranshah and he later died in hospital, a local government official told AFP on Friday requesting anonymity.
