Militants kill suspected government spy in Pakistani tribal area
Pro-Taliban militants shot dead a trader whom they accused of spying for government forces in a restive Pakistani tribal region bordering Afghanistan, officials said. The local carpet trader was attacked at a main market in the town of Miranshah and he later died in hospital, a local government official told AFP on Friday requesting anonymity. Witnesses said the assailants fled from the scene shouting that they had meted out punishment to a spy. Full Story
