Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero has said he would announce in June the beginning of direct talks with the armed Basque group ETA to end more than three decades of separatist violence. Zapatero told a Socialist Party meeting in Barakaldo, in the northern Basque region, that he would inform national political parties of the start of a dialogue, but did not give any dates. Full Story
