At least nine suspected pro-Taliban militants and one solider were killed in a shoot-out with Pakistani troops in a restive tribal area bordering Afghanistan, officials said. Militants ambushed a security force convoy near the Tahl checkpoint in North Waziristan and the ensuing gun battle left nine militants dead, a security official told AFP on Tuesday.
