The PNP’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said on Thursday that it foiled an Abu Sayyaf terror attack on several crowded places during this coming Labor Day celebration. The CIDG operatives confiscated high-powered improvised bombs, grenades, blasting caps and other materials in a bungalow in Marikina City, which they said, was rented by ranking al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf rebels.
