Five men pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from an alleged failed attempt to mimic the deadly July 7 suicide bombings in London last year. During a brief appearance at the Old Bailey criminal court, they denied charges of conspiring to attack London’s transport network and murder passengers on July 21 last year — two weeks to the day after the bombings. They also denied various charges of possessing “an improvised explosive device”, and four denied attempted murder. Their trial was set for October 3 before Justice Sir Adrian Bruce. Full Story
