The threat to Britain from terrorism has not changed since the suicide bomb attacks in London last year that killed 56 people and injured more than 700, the country’s top police officer said. “The threat remains as clear and manifest as it has ever since last July,” Ian Blair told a meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA), the body which oversees the day-to-day running of the force he heads.
