Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Tashkent for two days of talks with Uzbek president Islam Karimov that are expected to center on the fight against terrorism and ways to strengthen economic relations between the two countries. The two leaders are due Wednesday to sign a number of agreements on oil and gas, agricultural research and information technology (IT), Uzbek media reported.
