Islamic militants beheaded a tribesman in northwest Pakistan for allegedly working for US forces across the border in Afghanistan, officials have said. The headless body of the 40-year-old tribesmen was found lying in bushes near Wana, the main town in restive South Waziristan tribal district, a local official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. “It appears that he was brutally killed because the miscreants suspected him to be working for the US and Afghan forces,” the official said.
