Three people were wounded after guards loyal to the governing Hamas movement opened fire on supporters of the former ruling Fatah faction at the Palestinian health ministry, police said. One of the victims was critically hurt after being shot in the chest while the other two suffered leg and hand wounds. The police and witnesses said that the guards had opened fire Sunday during an argument with followers of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed offshoot of Fatah, who had come to complain about the treatment of a patient.
