Denmark has been asked to take in former Liberian President Charles Taylor after his war crimes trial, now that several other nations have refused, diplomats said Wednesday. Efforts to begin Taylor’s trial on 11 counts for his role in Sierra Leone’s vicious civil war have stalled because no country has agreed to the costly, lifelong commitment of taking him in.
