Taliban militants have torched a school in restive southern Afghanistan in the latest attack on the education system, police said. The incident late on Sunday in Ghazni province comes less than a week after seven schoolchildren were killed and several others wounded in a suspected Taliban rocket attack in the eastern province of Kunar. “Taliban have torched and destroyed a school in Muqur district of Ghazni province,” provincial police chief Abdul Rahman Sarjang told AFP on Monday.
