EFF files against AT&T surveillance
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has filed legal briefs and evidence against AT&T, claiming they are diverting Internet traffic to the NSA for widespread secret surveillance and possibly breaking federal wiretapping laws and the Fourth Amendment. According to a statement by the EFF regarding AT&T’s “dragnet” surveillance program, the case filing includes a declaration by Mark Klein, a former technician with AT&T who claims to have knowledge of the surveillance.
