Commission to examine Mexican killings
The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights has agreed to look into allegations that officials in Mexico botched investigations into the deaths of women in the border state of Chihuahua, an international watchdog group announced Wednesday. The Center for Justice and International Law, or CEJIL, said it received notice March 21 from the commission that it will look into allegations that Mexican authorities planted evidence and failed to go after the real killers of two women killed in the northern state of Chihuahua.
