Police arrest eight suspected arms traffickers in raids in Madrid and Alicante. Three Spaniards, a Syrian, one Argentinian, an Egyptian, an Estonian and a German were detained on Wednesday but details were only released the day after. Police were still carrying out a number of raids at addresses in the capital. At least one firearm has been seized. The Syrian who was arrested is the brother of Ghasoub al Abrash Ghalyoun, who was acquitted in September in the first Al Qaeda trial held in Spain. Full Story
