A bomb in a market in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar has killed at least one person and injured many others, police say. Police say the device was attached to a motorcycle. It is not clear who might have been behind the blast. The city’s police chief Habibur Rehman told AFP the device was a “time-bomb”. The blast came shortly after the US shut its consulate in the city following what officials said was a “specific and credible threat”. Full Story
